Power of Produce (POP) Club for kids! (3-6 PM)
Children will receive $4 in POP Coins to purchase fruit and vegetables at the farmers’ market, and they will earn their second stamp in their POP Passport (4 stamps = a prize!). All thanks to the support of the Christopher Dailey Foundation.
Week 5: Farm Explorer Day
Adventure is growing at POP Club! Dig into a delicious edible berry garden, meet local farmers, collect passport stamps for prizes, try something new at the 2 Bites Club, and become a Nature Detective!
Activity #1: Grow a Garden You Can Eat
Create your own edible berry garden with Cornell Cooperative Extension’s Food & Nutrition Program! Kids will layer “soil,” “fertilizer,” and fresh berries to build a delicious garden-inspired treat while learning about healthy foods and where they come from.
Activity #2: Explore the Market One Farm at a Time
Meet the people behind your food! Pick up a Farmer Passport and visit participating vendors to learn fun facts about local farms. Collect stamps along the way, then turn in your completed passport for a special prize! Plus, kids can try two bites of fresh celery from Owl Wood Farm at the 2 Bites Club!
Activity #3: Nature Detectives
Get hands-on with nature! Join Cornell Cooperative Extension’s Master Gardeners for a fun, interactive activity where kids can explore the natural world, discover fascinating plants and insects, and learn how gardens help support pollinators and local wildlife. Perfect for curious minds of all ages and abilities!

Indian Music Caravan
The Indian Music Caravan is a series of concerts throughout the Capital District, featuring Veena Chandra on sitar and Devesh Chandra on tabla. These performances take audiences on a journey through classical and folk music of India. Audiences experience both Indian music and the culture inherent to it. Saratoga Arts made this program possible through the Community Arts Regrant Program, funded by the New York State Council on the Arts with the support of the office of the Governor and the New York State Legislature.

Cornell Cooperative Extension: Master Gardeners
The Saratoga County Master Gardeners are passionate local volunteers who share research-based gardening knowledge with the community. From diagnosing plant and soil problems to offering seasonal gardening advice, they help local gardens thrive — and they also accept soil samples for testing to help gardeners better understand and improve their soil.
The Master Gardener Table will also have nature-themed activities as a part of POP Club!
