How it works
In partnership with Loving Earth Compost, the Saratoga Farmers’ Market is making it easy to compost—even if you don’t have a setup at home. Sign up for a composting subscription. Bring your fruit and vegetable scraps, coffee grounds, eggshells, and other organic materials to the market and drop them in the designated compost bins located at the green information booth. Your scraps will be transformed into rich, healthy soil—closing the loop right here in our community. At the end of our outdoor season, Loving Earth Compost will provide subscribers with a bag of compost, worm castings, or a composting coupon for next season.

- Composting is available at both the Wednesday and Saturday markets at High Rock Park.
- Compost bins are located at the green market information booth.
- Compostable materials include: Fruit & vegetable scraps, coffee grounds (and paper filters), tea bags (if not plastic-based), eggshells, fresh grass clippings plant trimmings & garden waste.
- Loving Earth Compost's mission is to provide high-quality, convenient composting services to Saratoga Springs and the surrounding areas.
