Opening Day at High Rock Park

The wait is over—outdoor market season is here! Join us as the Saratoga Farmers’ Market returns to High Rock Park and kicks off our 48th season. It’s a day to celebrate local food, fresh beginnings, and the vibrant community that makes this market so special.
Opening Day Schedule & Highlights:
8:45 AM – Ribbon Cutting Ceremony
Start the morning with us as we gather at the middle pavilion for our annual ribbon cutting, featuring remarks from Mayor Safford and community partners. It’s a great moment to celebrate the season together—vendors and shoppers alike are encouraged to join in!
9:00 AM – Market Opens
The market bell rings and the season officially begins! Explore over 70 vendors offering fresh greens, early spring produce, meats, baked goods, pantry staples, plants, flowers, and prepared foods.
Free Kids Activities (All Morning)
- Free face painting for kids
- A fun, spring-themed craft hosted by the Saratoga Springs Public Library Mobile Library. They will bring books available to browse and check out—just bring your library card!
Gardening & Growing
Visit the CCE Master Gardeners table for expert advice on everything from soil health to plant care. Browse their seed library and take home seeds to start your own garden.
Live Music All Morning
- Running the River — featuring Barry Weinstein (fiddle) and Neil Yetwin (guitar & vocals), playing classic rock, country, oldies, and traditional fiddle tunes
- The Bennett Brothers — a local duo blending classic rock, blues, and country with a laid-back, feel-good sound
What to Expect
Fresh, seasonal food, vibrant plant starts, handcrafted goods, and the return of your favorite vendors—plus some new faces to discover. Bring your bags, your friends, and your appetite.
