October Market Discovery Days: Free Family Fun at the Farmers’ Market

October is a beautiful time to visit the Saratoga Farmers’ Market, and this year we’re adding even more fun for families!

Join us every Wednesday in October for Market Discovery Days, four weeks of FREE after-school activities at High Rock Park. Each Wednesday brings something different, with hands-on crafts, seasonal tastes, special community guests, and a new reason to stop by after school while enjoying the fall harvest.

October 7 – Apples & Autumn Art
Sample local apples, enjoy a children’s activity with Find Me in Saratoga author Patrice, and get creative with CREATE Community Studios.

October 14 – Bees & Fall Fun
Meet the Southern Adirondack Beekeepers Association, make a fall crown, and spend some time at the Play Patch.

October 21 – Apples & Gratitude
We’re celebrating our farmers! Kids can make thank-you cards, join CREATE Community Studios for a hands-on activity, and help make applesauce with local apples.

October 28 – Creatures & Fall Crafts
We’ll wrap up the month with the Southern Adirondack Beekeepers Association, a children’s craft with the Saratoga Springs Public Library, and some wonderfully silly gourd creatures.

The farmers’ market will be happening right alongside it all, filled with the October harvest, local food, ready-to-eat favorites, and everything you need for the week ahead.

Come after school, bring the kids, grab something good for dinner, and spend a fall afternoon at the market with us!

Wednesdays in October | 3–6 PM
High Rock Park, Saratoga Springs
All activities are FREE and no registration is required.
