On Saturday, November 7th, the Saratoga Farmers’ Market will once again return to the warmth and comfort of the Wilton Mall food court for the winter and early spring months.
If you’ve been visiting the bustling markets at High Rock Park and Clifton Park this year, you’ll be pleased to know that many of your favorite vendors will be attending the winter market as well. New vendors will compliment and enhance the already great offerings, giving you a one-stop shopping experience.
At the winter market, you’ll discover a wide variety of sustainably- and organically-grown vegetables; fresh apples, tomatoes, mushrooms, yogurt, and cheese; premium pasture-raised eggs, meat, poultry, and seafood products; delicious sourdough bread, pastries, cookies, candies, chocolates, and other sweets; locally-made pantry staples like jams, honey, coffee, maple syrup, pickles, peanut butter, tonics, jerky and spice blends; skillfully-handcrafted gifts like jewelry, fine spirits, woodwork, soaps and body products; holiday decor like balsam fir wreaths and centerpieces; and an excellent selection of prepared foods like tacos, curries, pierogies, pot pies, breakfast sandwiches, lasagna, jerk chicken and much, much more.

The winter market also organizes seasonal activities for children and families and hosts community-based organizations offering a variety of educational, health and wellness, and agricultural programs. These include:
Community composting: The farmers’ market will continue to partner with Loving Earth Compost through the winter. You may buy a compost subscription at the market.
Free Yoga classes: Yoga Mandali will offer a free yoga class every Saturday, from 10-11 AM from December through April.
Borrow a library book: Saratoga Springs Public Library will attend every Saturday, bringing books for you to peruse and check out with your library card. They will also bring a craft for children of all ages and abilities.
Seed library: The Cornell Cooperative Extension Master Gardeners will bring their free seed library beginning in February. They will give you free seeds, answer your questions about growing flowers, vegetables, and herbs, and help you plan your garden.
Community events: The farmers’ market will host a community event every month. Past events have included visits with Santa and the Easter bunny, basket raffles, holiday markets, live music, craft stations and scavenger hunts, and cooking demos.

The Saratoga Farmers Market at the Wilton Mall is your place this winter for the freshest food, family fun, and the best products from the region. Warm conversations with friends, neighbors, and vendors will make you linger. There’s no better way to start your weekend on a cold winter’s day.
The Saratoga Farmers’ Market is now open indoors on Saturdays, 9:30 AM–1:30 PM, at the Wilton Mall Food Court in Saratoga Springs. Enter through the Scene ONE Cinemas entrance, across from the BJ’s parking lot.
