DESCRIPTION:On Saturday\, April 11\, the Saratoga Farmers’ Market invites the community to celebrate cultivation\, connection\, and the joys of spring with a variety of special activities for all ages. \n\n\n\nFrom 9:30 am to 1:30 pm\, the Cornell Cooperative Extension Master Gardeners will be on-site to answer gardening questions and share their new seed library\, featuring a wide selection of flower and vegetable seeds. They’ll also offer a family-friendly activity teaching about compost by making edible compost\, from 10 am to 1 pm! \n\n\n\nChildren can decorate their own terra cotta pots for spring planting with the Friends of the Market. \n\n\n\nFrom 9:30 to 10 a.m.\, Bella Osborn\, a Master Gardener with Cornell Cooperative Extension of Saratoga County\, will lead a free workshop on nature journaling for garden management\, so grab a coffee\, a journal to sketch on\, and a friend. \n\n\n\nMarket-goers can also enjoy a free screening of The Biggest Little Farm at Scene One Cinemas at 11 am.
