July 16 and 19: Eat Local Days at the Market
At this week’s Wednesday and Saturday markets, we will celebrate eating local. Joining us will be chef Greg Hofmann of La Cantina on Wednesday and chefs Rocco at Mouzon House and Dave Britton from Beekman Street Bistro on Saturday. Stop by to see (and taste) how they use local produce from the market. Throughout the market we there will be samples of market product available and lots of information, local food recipes, educational enlightenment on local eating.
We are also going to be having a Trivia Contest: Know Your Farmer! Market Gift Certificates and Market Totes will be awarded to a winner on Wednesday and Saturday. We hope you take advantage of all our market has to offer, incredible local, fresh food AND get to know your farmer!
